Custom-made shoes.

If you decide that I should make shoes for you, call or write to me. We will make an appointment: you can come to my studio or I will come to you. We will discuss in detail the appearance, type of materials and technique I will use to make shoes for you (I will inform you about all options). You can prepare a sketch or photos of what you like and what looks nice to you. Do not be afraid to let your imagination run wild, I like unique designs. Once we have all details agreed, I will take the measure of your feet, I will make an outline and I will write down the data. I will ask you for 10-percent advance payment and we will choose a date for pick up of the finished shoes.
  That is what acceptance of the order looks like.
What next?
   I will begin to execute your design.
I will sculpt the moulds/lasts according to the taken measure using beech wood and I will give them the shape of your shoes. When the materials are collected, I will prepare a structure and I will sew uppers which I will use to dress the wooden lasts, and I will make an outline of the sole.
I will pass on the obtained model / trial version
via courier or in person for checking to make sure that all proportions are as you dreamt about and that your feet feel comfortable. (this is also the time for possible correction of the details of the concept)
If everything is correct, I will make the proper version of your shoes and together with the dedicated shoetrees you will receive them from me on the agreed day.
